A good coat
If we had to analyze your wardrobe and get it ready for fall-winter (this year or any year), the first thing we'd probably ask you is: What coats do you have? Do you love them? Do they really work for your everyday look? Do they go with everything?
The coat is possibly the most important piece in your fall-winter wardrobe when it comes to creating and elevating your street looks, since it's the one that will be most visible in your entire look!
We assume you have clothes you more or less like because the "easy" thing is to get cute sweaters and get them right, have basic pants that you wear with everything, etc. And sometimes we can downplay outerwear. We can have a perfect look and then throw on an old coat that instantly ruins our perfect outfit.
So we recommend you take a look at your coats and rate them :)
And if you think it's time to get a new coat, we recommend one with a classic, minimalist, or rather oversized cut. We say this last point because a fitted coat, besides looking a bit dated, limits you when it comes to wearing it over multiple layers of clothing.
